- 1 in 5 people have dyslexia symptoms. People with dyslexia you might recognize: Cher, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso, Charles Schwab, Agatha Christie, and many others.
- If one parent has dyslexia there is a 50% chance their child will have it.
- Tutoring and listening to audiobooks are great ways to turn struggles into opportunities.
It's part of our mission to have everyone in our community develop their essential reading skills, and the Main Library is excited to host an October 2023 display from the Grand Traverse Dyslexia Association.
