Challenge Island is back for a Spring Break STEAM event designed especially for youth aged 9 thru 12 years old. 

Tropical Minecraft Village Challenge and Runaway Mine Car Challenge

Have you ever built structures in Minecraft that are so cool that you wish you could walk right into that world?  Well here's your chance!  In this unplugged event, teams will build an entire village with structures you can go inside!  What does a great village need ~ houses, post office, farm, general store, castle, restaurant, ...gaming store??  You are the architects in this Minecraft world brought to life!  You will need to strategically figure out which resources you need to build and visit the resource store to gather & craft.  Just watch out for those pesky villagers mumbling around the town!

And if you have never played Minecraft ~ no worries.  This challenge is just like building forts.    

IN ADDITION to this, for those that want a different kind of Minecraft challenge we will also have a Runaway Mine Car Challenge where you can build a mine car track with traps, drops, switchbacks, & fallen rocks as well as create the look of a mine with rock formations and revealed gems.
