Program Description

Event Details

The Library of Michigan and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services are partnering to support the ability of older Michigan residents to access live, online virtual classes on a variety of topics through GetSetUp.

This set of dates will focus on learning to sleep better as you grow older. A hectic physical regimen throughout the day can tire one physically and mentally. With age, various issues like sleeping disorders and stress-induced insomnia can come up. One can manage these conditions with various meditative practices before sleep. In this session, we will use a form of sleep meditation to calm the body and mind. This progressive relaxation technique can successfully help you in slowing a frantic brain down, releasing tension from your muscles, and getting ready to sleep better day by day.

When registering, you will need to sign up.  GetSetUp classes are free when using the code:   MICHIGANHEALTH when registering.
