March is National Reading Month! To celebrate, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM,
the LWVGTA will present a program focused on how a library book gets to the reader’s hands with
discussion of the process of publication, process of library selection, censorship, and book banning
efforts.

Our speakers are Michele Howard (Director of Traverse Area District Libraries), Stephie Luyt (Traverse City Area Public School Elementary Library Coordinator), and Karrie Zeits (Attorney at Sondee, Racine & Doren PLC).

The program will be from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
