Families are invited to celebrate Earth Science Week with us during an after-hours Mini MakerFest at the library! Local STEAM organizations and educators who will also be there include: TC Central Raptors Robotics, Challenge Island Northwest Michigan, Grand Traverse Conservation District, Pebble Pups (the kids version of the TC Rock Hounds), the Girl Scouts of Michigan, the Cherryland Ghostbusters, and TADL's Youth Services department.
Try out new robots from the library, see demos from the Raptors Robotics team, explore fun STEAM projects with Challenge Island, get to know the animals that live in our area with the Conservation District, explore the beauty of rocks and fossils with the Pebble Pups, and use your hands to explore wind, balance, and shadows with the Youth Services Department.
No reservation needed, just drop-in for this special after-hours event anytime between 6 and 8 pm.
