Event Details

Preschoolers and their families are invited to join us in Hull Park for the Pre-Reader Finale Celebration! We have navigated our way through the Oceans of Possibilities theme, celebrating our region's lakes and waterways- and the Pre-Reader Celebration will be even more fun. Patrons must earn 600 points by July 31st to qualify for the Finale drawings.

Our schedule of events will go as follows:

  • 10:45 AM: Join us in Hull Park for games and activities, including community partners Challenge Island NW MI, Born to Read, and our friends from TC Double Bubble. Participate in an age-appropriate STEM Challenge and pick up a free book.
  • 11 AM: Miriam Pico takes the stage and entertains with songs of water and movement.
  • 11:45 AM: Mr. Andy announces the Pre-Reader Finishers' Prize winners for this year's Summer Library Challenge.
  • 12 noon: TADL staff pack up and get ready for our evening celebration.
