Looking for a way to do something for your community?

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help. 

Join us for Queer Tales Book Club where we chat about books that are by and/or about LGBTQIA+ people. Reading is not required, and everyone is welcome.

We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Nelson Room.

Make-Believers is an energetic and engaging storytime with Miss Kate that welcomes preschoolers and their caregivers.

Need a little help with your laptop, tablet, or phone? TADL's knowledgeable staff are available to answer your basic questions during this time and can set you up with resources for more information.

Join us for Wigglers Storytime! Ms. Beth engages our early and pre-readers with movement, music, crafts, and stories, to develop literacy, social skills, and confidence!

ACLU and local legal experts answer questions to help the LGBTQ+ community prepare for changes and challenges that may be on the horizon and what resources are available for assistance.

Join Mr. Andy for Storytime For Bigs!  Engaging stories, songs, movement and fun for preschoolers and their caregivers.

Join other homeschool families for this parent-led Big Kid Storytime! We encourage kids 4 and up to attend with their caregivers. Movement, music, stories, art, and more!

Back by popular demand! Bring your own LEGO® or use ours, but come and spend time building LEGO® creations with your friends at the Kingsley Branch Library in the Community Room!

Tweens are invited to try their hands at various arts and crafts with STEAM related concepts and fun projects to make and take! This program is geared toward older kids grades 3-6.

Find clues, solve puzzles, and break the code before time runs out!

Ages 12 - 18 are invited to participate in an Escape Room activity. Pizza will be provided. 

Join us for an hour of yoga, focusing on stress relief & anxiety. Adaptable for all abilities - suitable for beginners and those with mobility issues.

Join Chef Tom at the Kingsley Branch Library on the last Saturday of every month for “Simply Delicious with Chef Tom,” a quick and inspiring cooking class!

Find Youth Services and the Bookmobile at the Civic Center as part of the Grand Traverse Parks and Recreation's WinterFest celebration!

Join us for a Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament right here at the library! Tournament play will be organized by Cherry Capital Smash Bros. Systems and controllers will be provided, but bringing your own equipment is appreciated.
