Dreaming of April Showers and Tons of Flowers! (Teen Blog 6)

Posted on:

Now that it’s officially Spring, we’re finding ourselves longing for beautiful flowers and warm weather! From the snow outside it’s not exactly gardening season quite yet, but we can be patient.

To tide us over until we can get our hands dirty in some fresh soil, we picked our top three flower books that give off Spring vibes.

In no particular order, here they are!

  1. Tahira in Bloom by Farah Heron

Tahira is a fashion person, not a flower person. At least, that’s what she thinks before she starts working at her aunt’s flower shop. Join Tahira as she discovers a passion for flowers she never knew she even had!

  2. Flowerheart by Catherine Bakewell

Flowers have always held a special place in Clara’s heart– after all, growing them is her magic. There’s only one problem– she can’t control her magic, and lately it’s been growing more dangerous. This cottagecore fantasy gives off magical spring vibes that readers will love.

  3. I Love You So Mochi by Sarah Kuhn

Set during the height of Kyoto’s Spring cherry blossom season, I Love You So Mochi is a book that makes readers feel as though they’re traveling to Japan alongside the main character Kimi! If you’re looking for an adorable tale of exploration and romance, this is one you won’t want to miss.

If you’re still in a flower mood, yay! So are we! Here’s one of our favorite quotes about Spring. We love how it captures the Spring spirit.

Like Ralph Waldo Emmerson says, Spring flowers will be coming before you know it, so look out for your favorite flowers to welcome in the Spring season! Ours are Lilacs.🪻What are yours?

Before we end our post, we want to get everyone hyped up for next month! As always, we’ll have a new teen craft on display in front of our desk, so grab yours quickly before they’re gone.

But that’s not all– we’re also excited to let everyone know that our check us out display will be changing themes for the months of April and May! Curious? Stop by and take a look! We’re sure everyone will find their new favorite books to take home.
