Josh Denby, TADL’s Head of Sight & Sound, is steering the TADL Waves project. “We’re launching now to share some great music with everyone for the upcoming holiday weekend,” he said. “Our jurors curated a great, well-rounded selection of music.”  TADL’s first jury panel included The Accidentals, Karine Pierson of MI Music Education, and TADL employees Keith Schwartz and Chad Farrell.

“It’s a great feeling because we’re following our mission as a library and providing our patrons with local music,” Denby said. “As an added bonus we’re supporting local artists at the same time.”Denby notes that he hopes this service will inspire more people to think about music. “TADL can get anyone started in music. We have an amazing selection of instruments and equipment to check out with your TADL card.”

The library is planning a September listening party, watch the events calendar for a date and time. Press resources are available online at tadl.org/press
