A new year brings lots of new ways to have fun at the library!
(TRAVERSE CITY) - The Traverse Area District Library (TADL) has been busy planning a fantastic 2023! Thanks to the Friends of TADL and other generous donors, our front lawn funding campaign was successful, triggering a 50% match from MEDC. Our new sign is already in, and we will be planning the rest of the improvements over the next few weeks. Our goal is to have most of the work completed before the middle of June. But that’s not all!

Call for Art
The Main Library is planning to host an art show featuring works by area veterans in May. The display will be open May 11 - 31, 2023, with entries accepted April 25 - May 5, 2023. This is an open call for entries, and all entries must meet the policies of the library. For more details please visit tadl.org/veteransart
This is all in addition to our usual full schedule of storytimes and regular events, so please check our calendar for the entire slate of activities. If you’re looking for something to do outside at any time we also have a new permanent storywalk, funded by Roswell and Patricia Ard. We installed the first story last week, just start at the Little Free Library and continue on around the building.
