Friends of TADL Fall Book Sale Nov. 2 - 5

The ever-popular Friends of TADL Fall Book Sale is this weekend! 

  • Thurs. Nov. 2 - Hours: 6 to 8 pm FRIENDS-ONLY PREVIEW SALE
  • Fri. Nov. 3 - Sale Hours: 9 am - 6 pm
  • Sat. Nov. 4 - Sale Hours: 9 am - 6 pm
  • Sun. Nov. 5 - Sale Hours: Noon to 4:30 pm

Upcoming Library Closures

All TADL libraries will be closed Fri. 11/10 for staff in-service training. The Main Library will close at 5 pm Wed. 11/22 and close all day for the Thanksgiving holiday Thurs. 11/23. Please see individual library websites for holiday hour details at other TADL libraries.

Shop Your Community Day 11/11

Shop downtown Sat. November 11 - participating stores will be donating a portion of their proceeds to local non-profits. We would love it if you let them know you would like to direct the donation from your sale to the Traverse Area District Library!

Unleash your inner artist and discover the secrets of painting with Amy Spitzley, a local artist and author known for her stunning work at art fairs. Join her to transform your ideas into a masterpiece on a mini canvas to take home.

11/11 & 11/25, Saturday Chess Club 11 am

Looking to up your Chess game? Join our event where Luca will teach you the ropes, Aaron will bring the challenge, and snacks will keep you energized as you take on various opponents and sharpen your skills. Players rotate to play as many people as time allows.
