Join us for a fun-filled Spring Break week in TADL's Youth Services department, with each day bringing something new (and free).
Monday, 3/25: We're excited to bring back Challenge island for more fun STEAM adventures with their Super Mario Jump Challenge. We'll have two programs, one at 2 pm for ages 5 - 8 and another at 3:15 for ages 9 - 12. Register on our Events page by clicking on the program and adding your child's information.
Tuesday, 3/26: Joel Tacey is bringing his Mobile NERF Challenge to TADL with games like Capture the Flag, Eliminator, and Zombies vs. Humans. Bring your own NERF blaster if you wish, though Mr. Joel will bring enough for everyone signed up (sign up via our Events page). Two program for this one, as well: 10 AM for ages 5-8, and 11 AM for ages 9-12.
Wednesday, 3/27: Storytime (11 AM) and Crafternoon (starting at 2 PM). Raid our craft closet and Maker Cart to craft to your heart's delight.
Thursday, 3/28: Beach Party (11 AM) and Detroit Zoo Science Activities (2 PM). Can't make it to the beach this Spring Break? Join us in the StoryRoom for beach games, activities, and snacks. In the afternoon, test your environmental know how with fun, STEAM-themed science activities from the Detroit Zoo.
Friday, 3/29: Make your own cardboard car in the StoryRoom (9:30) and then join us for a viewing of the movie "Cars" (10 AM).
Saturday, 3/30: Eclipse craft with Miss Amanda (11 AM). Also, check our Facebook for the announcement of our March Book Madness book champion.
