It's hard to believe but the 2024 Summer Reading Club is almost over! The good news is that this means one fun day of Summer Reading Club Finale events on Monday, July 22nd. Featured events incude:
- our Pre-Reader Finale program in Hull Park from 11 am - 12 noon. Our featured performer is local singer and kid fav, Miriam Pico! Also joining us are Born to Read (get a free book!), Dolly Parton's Imagination Library (sign your child up for free books until their 5th birthday), and the Grand Traverse Area Children's Garden. Children can also pick up a free lunch, courtesy of Feeding America - West Michigan. Pre-Reader Finishers prizes will be awarded at this event (tickets must be entered in Beanstack by 11:59 pm on Sunday, 7/21).
- our All Ages Finale program in Hull Park from 6 pm - 7:30 pm. This carnival-like atmosphere will include our friends from TADL Main departments, Challenge Island NW MI, Grand Traverse Conservation District, the Grand Traverse Area Children's Garden, Aloft Disc Golf, The Painted Lady Face Art, and TC Double Bubble, will put a fun and fitting end to our trek through SRC. We'll also give away Finishers Prizes from the Reader, Teen, and Adult departments (do not need to be present to win), as well as fun Family Prize drawings for families in attendance (must be present to win).
