Another day, another blog post. We enjoyed the first one so much we’re coming back for a second one! Take that, New Year’s resolutions!
This afternoon, we have a certain red-hatted plumber on our minds. Why? Because he's our favorite character to play in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, of course! We had our first Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament on Sunday, and we're thrilled to say it was a success! We liked it so much we've decided to host a second one on Sunday the 9th-- so if you missed the first one or are itching for another round, we'll see you here! Are you on team Mario like us? Or will you play another fighter to challenge him?
What else...?
Oh, right, we were going to talk about books too! Our new books shelf has been looking better than ever recently, with plenty of great books to read. We don't have enough space to talk about all of them (as much as we might want to), so here are our top three picks!

The Henna Start-Up by Andaleeb Wajid
Abir is a college student who is ready to start her next step in life. When her mom's henna service gets slighted, Abir decides she can't let that slide and makes a henna app to help out. We love Abir for her determination and relatability-- we've all been students!
A Language of Dragons by S.F. Williamson
Calling all dragon lovers, we have the perfect book for you! This new fiction tells the consequences of what happens when a truce between humans and dragons is broken. The book adds another layer of intrigue by its setting of alternate 1932 London, making it a fun mesh of historical and fantasy genres.
Heist Royale by Kayvion Lewis
What's better than a heist movie? A heist book, obviously! What makes this particular heist novel more interesting is that it's a heist competition, so master thief Ross Quest has a big challenge to overcome!
This book is a sequel though, so be sure to read Thieves' Gambit first. If not, you'll probably wonder who stole all the context!
If none of those caught your attention, no problem! We have an entire shelf of our new books, so feel free to look around and you might just find your next favorite read.
