Event Details

Join us via Zoom with Shelley Shepard Gray, prolific inspirational and Amish writer as she talks about Five Things I Learned from the Amish.  Shelley started writing about the Amish because their way of life appealed to her. She wanted to write stories about regular, likeable people in extraordinary situations-and who just happened to be Amish. If you like sweet, well written reads that won't give you nightmares but still are attention grabbers, pick up a novel of hers--or two.  You won't be disappointed! Join us and hear more about her writing.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Shelley Shepard Gray writes Amish and Inspirational romances for Simon & Schuster, and Kensington, Harlequin, and contemporary women’s fiction for Blackstone Publishing. With over a million books in print, and translated into more than a dozen languages, her novels have been Holt Medallion winners and Inspirational Readers Choice and Carol finalists. She lives in northern Ohio and writes full time. A busy wife and mother of two, she spends her days writing and keeping track of her two teenagers. Her two dogs keep her company when she writes in her basement. Shelley enjoys writing about the Amish and she visits Amish communities in Adams and Holmes counties several times a year.
