Program Description
Event Details
Kick off the Summer Reading Club with a bird walk for teens and their guests! We will meet up in Teen Services for a brief discussion about bird watching and identification. Our guide, Mr. Warren, will then lead the group down to the Boardman lake trail behind the library for the walk. If you have a pair of binoculars, please bring them. We will have a few sets of binoculars and bird guidebooks any participants without to share.
Mr. Warren has a degree in natural resources management and participates in annual bird surveys near the Seney National Wildlife Refuge. He also leads bird walks for the Benzie Audubon Club.
