Addiction affects people of all ages. Our speakers tonight will focus on adolescents, who are the most vulnerable to developing lifelong addictions. They will be sharing about programs that provide education, prevention & treatment opportunities, along with connecting local resources & advocating to reduce stigma.

Substance Free Coalition of NW Michigan- will talk about the Prescription Opioid Prevention Initiative & the efforts to get the word out in our community through the KnowDangers Campaign.
Grand Traverse County Drug Free Coalition & Up North Prevention - will share about their student prevention clubs & other youth prevention work in Grand Traverse County.
Northern Lakes Community Mental Health - will speak about their Juvenile Justice Diversion Program, specializing in providing Mental Health & Substance Use support to at risk adolescents & their families in Grand Traverse County.
Discuss: Opportunities to talk about the support these programs offer & time for questions at the end. Many local resource organizations will be there with representatives available to answer questions & offer handouts to take home.
