Join the Kingsley Branch Library for “Novelember” and finally write the novel brewing inside you! Think it’s impossible to write a novel in one month?? We’ve got tools and experts to help you! Join us for the kick-off event on Tuesday, October 29th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and learn from prolific author Marshall Thornton!

Writing a novel in a month is quite a challenge. Thornton will offer tips for writing quickly (we're talking 2000 words a day!) When you’re trying to write a novel in a month, the biggest issue is having nothing to write and staring at a blank screen. We’ll talk about how to avoid that and keep generating story. Writing needs inspiration but you can’t follow through without craft.

Talk will last about half an hour and then you'll have time to brainstorm and write. Bring your notebook or laptop, and your creativity! Refreshments will be available courtesy of Trace Cakes of Kingsley.
