Learn from an expert how small businesses can protect themselves from cyber threats. In this workshop, you’ll learn about common cyber threats, understand how to spot your vulnerabilities, and plan steps to improve your cybersecurity.

Al Steed is a long-time resident of Traverse City, Albert earned an associate’s degree in applied science and business at NMC and graduated with honors from Ferris State University earning a bachelor’s

degree in business.

He joined Charter Communications as a Network technician and became a top producing sales engineer, he assisted advanced data customers while helping Charter management draft marketing plans and pricing for new utilities.

A subsequent career move resulted in the launch of Ironkeep Technologies. For the next 10 years he and a partner and staff provided IT solutions to regional businesses.

 In 2010, Advanced Computer Solutions was started. Present operations include IT services,

consulting, compliance auditing, security, communications, disaster recovery, web and IT infrastructure. He remains as its president, leading the company’s sales and strategic direction.
