Make-Believers is an energetic and engaging storytime with Miss Kate that welcomes everyone, ages 2 and up. We’ll practice the important early literacy skills of reading, talking, singing, writing and playing while listening to stories and music.

Need a little help with your laptop, tablet, or phone? TADL's knowledgeable staff are available to answer your basic questions during this time and can set you up with resources for more information.

Join librarians and volunteers for Big Kid Storytime! We encourage kids 4 and up to attend with their caregivers for movement, music, stories, art, and fun! We meet every Thursday at 11 a.m. unless Kingsley Schools are closed.

Families are invited to join our friends from Just Bee Yoga + Well-Being for a short yoga class in our StoryRoom.

You bring the love, we'll provide the supplies!

Drop in February 10th, 13th, or 14th to make and take your own Valentines. All ages welcome.

Join us for an introduction to Tai Chi with Josh in the East Bay Township building north conference room, across the parking lot from the library. 

The book is always better but movies are so very entertaining. Join us and watch a movie based on a book or real life. Once in awhile we may show one just for the fun of it that is not based on anything but just pure enjoyment.  

Public trust and confidence in the U.S. Supreme Court and its “legitimacy” has been seriously eroded in the last ten to twenty years. Is there any basis for that loss of confidence?

Kingsley Friends of the Library invite you to this fun, literacy-themed event!

The Finance/Facilities committee meeting of the TADL Board of Trustees.

Visitors to the Baby Pantry can see the Bookmobile, get library cards, circulate materials and learn about programs that the Traverse Area District Library offers.

Join this fun teen-led D&D campaign in the Community Room. Typically, we’re playing 5e. Everything you need is provided!

Event is free and open to persons 13-19. (Parents are welcomed… for the most part!)

Drop by the Youth Services Department and get creative with supplies provided by the library.  Make and take or just create! 

Do you like to crochet or knit? Paint? Make jewelry? Draw or color? Any other creative activity? Bring your art or craft project and supplies and spend some time with other creative people! Snacks (and company) will be provided.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is over. Now what? It is time to expand and edit your writing!

Join us for fun with LEGO and other engineering challenges. Build something tall, moveable or stable, and challenge yourself to build & create.

Whether you need volunteer hours for school or are just looking to be more active in your community, the library would be pleased to benefit from your time.

Tweens are invited to try their hands at various arts and crafts with STEAM related concepts and fun projects to make and take! This program is geared toward older kids grades 3-6.

Please join us for D&D at the library! Dinner will be provided. You do not need to have experience, but please come ready to learn and take the campaign seriously! Thank you!

Do you read manga? Watch anime? Love cosplay? Revel in fandoms? Join us!

We will watch a few episodes of the chosen anime and will have a craft available to do.

This program is intended for patrons 13-years-old and up.

Relax and unwind with an evening of coloring and conversation. Coloring sheets, artist pencils, and herbal tea provided.

This event takes place on the first Tuesday of each month.

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help. 

This week's session will be Introduction to Meditation - In 1hr classes, students will be focusing on building a practice by exploring tools in guided meditation.

Quiet and relaxing space to do self-led yoga. Free to the public.
