Let the summer reading adventures begin! It's time to sign up for Summer Reading Club, so we're throwing a kickoff celebration for everyone to enjoy. Join us throughout the first floor of the library for Summer Reading fun!
Front Lawn
- Get a bike tune-up for your summer riding adventures from Norte Youth Cycling!
- Build that home library with a free book for your preschooler from our friends at Born to Read.
- Make your own first aid kid with our friends from Books from Birth and get signed up for monthly book deliveries from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
- Do your part in helping our planet with Citizen Science Kits from the Grand Traverse Conversation District.
- Do an adventure-themed craft and learn about all the great activities this summer with Girl Scouts Michigan Shore to Shore.
- Learn about foster care opportunities in our community with Child and Family Services of NW MI.
McGuire Community Room
- 11 AM: Indiana Joel's Magic Show with Joel Tacey, Michigan's Family Funnyman (TM)
Atrium
- Get signed up for Summer Reading Club, pick up your adventure-themed Summer Reading Club t-shirt.
Youth Services
- Stock up on books, take a photo at our camping-themed photo op, and pick up your reading log.
