Dr. Erica O'Neal will continue her discussions on Pelvic Health, specifically talking about bowels.

"Navigating Bowel Dysfunction: Insights and Solutions with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist"

Join us for a comprehensive workshop led by Dr. Erica O'Neal, a certified pelvic floor physical therapist, focusing on bowel dysfunction—a common yet often overlooked issue affecting many individuals.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Understand Bowel Dysfunction: Learn about the different types of bowel dysfunction, including constipation, diarrhea, and fecal incontinence, difficulty with gas control, pain and their impact on daily life.
  • Discover Effective Strategies: Explore practical and evidence-based techniques for managing and improving bowel health, including dietary adjustments, pelvic floor exercises, and behavioral modifications.
  • Get Hands-On Guidance: Engage in interactive demonstrations and gain valuable insights on how to incorporate these strategies into your daily routine.

This workshop aims to provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to address bowel dysfunction and enhance your overall well-being in a supportive and informative setting.

Dr. Erica O’Neal is a licensed Physical Therapist, and graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She has advanced training as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) and specializes in pelvic health physical therapy.

Erica is very passionate about helping individuals with a variety of pelvic health issues. She has personal experience with pelvic floor physical therapy after having her own two children, and has since helped many individuals of all ages with improving their quality of life and living life without fear, embarrassment, or frustration and confusion with ongoing pelvic health issues. This also includes back pain and tightness and hip pain and issues. As a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, she is passionate about helping women who are hoping to become pregnant, who are currently pregnant, or who have already had children (no matter how many years ago!) to live without pain or dysfunction to reach their individual activity and life goals. 

When she’s not working with clients, Erica enjoys exploring hiking and walking trails with her husband and kids and going to the beach or any sources of water around this beautiful region!
