Dr. Erica O'Neal will continue her discussions on Pelvic Health, specifically talking about pelvic pain.

"Understanding and Managing Pelvic Pain: A Workshop for Relief and Empowerment"

Join us for an informative and empowering workshop hosted by Dr. Erica O'Neal, a licensed pelvic floor physical therapist. This session is designed to provide insights and practical strategies for managing and alleviating pelvic pain, a condition affecting many individuals but often shrouded in misunderstanding and stigma. This can include pain with intercourse or intimacy, pelvic pain, hip, back, or tailbone pain, pain from endometriosis or other pelvic floor conditions. 

During this workshop, you will:

  • Learn About Pelvic Pain: Understand the common causes and symptoms of pelvic pain, including how it affects daily life and overall well-being.
  • Explore Effective Treatment and Options: Discover evidence-based techniques and how exercises that can help reduce pain and improve pelvic floor function - hint...it's NOT Kegels!
  • Ask Questions: Participate in an interactive Q&A session where you can ask questions and get personalized advice from our expert, or ask privately after the session.

Whether you are currently experiencing pelvic pain or seeking to better understand this condition, this workshop aims to provide valuable information and support in a welcoming and educational environment.

Dr. Erica O’Neal is a licensed Physical Therapist, and graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She has advanced training as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) and specializes in pelvic health physical therapy.

Erica is very passionate about helping individuals with a variety of pelvic health issues. She has personal experience with pelvic floor physical therapy after having her own two children, and has since helped many individuals of all ages with improving their quality of life and living life without fear, embarrassment, or frustration and confusion with ongoing pelvic health issues. This also includes back pain and tightness and hip pain and issues. As a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, she is passionate about helping women who are hoping to become pregnant, who are currently pregnant, or who have already had children (no matter how many years ago!) to live without pain or dysfunction to reach their individual activity and life goals. 

When she’s not working with clients, Erica enjoys exploring hiking and walking trails with her husband and kids and going to the beach or any sources of water around this beautiful region!
