Adult/Senior Video Led Yoga

Every Friday from 9-10 a.m.

This is beginner-friendly low-impact yoga. Yoga mats are available to borrow on-site.

Join us for Wigglers Storytime! Ms. Beth engages our early and pre-readers with movement, music, crafts, and stories, to develop literacy, social skills, and confidence!

Also, stay after Wigglers on cold days for Wiggler Playgroup.

Need a little help with your laptop, tablet, or phone? TADL's knowledgeable staff are available to answer your basic questions during this time and can set you up with resources for more information.

This week's session will be Yin Yoga - Yin is a slow-paced, gentle form of yoga. Simple postures are taken and held for 2-7 minutes, using supportive props, such as bolsters or blocks, to improve comfort and accessibility.

Start your week out right with some beautiful stories and meaningful time with the special children in your life. Take time to relax and enjoy listening to some picture books that are a little longer than books read at our typical storytimes.

The goal of the Traverse Area Historical Society is to share local history of Traverse City and the Grand Traverse region.

Adults & Teens - Drop in to the East Bay Branch Library and try your hand at paper quilling! Quilling involves coiling strips of colored paper into basic shapes. Join us and you'll see how simple it is to create beautiful, unique designs!

Join us with local astronomer, Dr. Gerald Dobek as he discusses the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. 

Dr. Dobek will discuss previous eclipses and talk about ways to view this fantastic event safely.

Whether you need volunteer hours for school or are just looking to be more active in your community, the library would be pleased to benefit from your time.

The Traverse Area District Library's Board of Trustees meeting is a regularly scheduled event and is held monthly on the third Thursday.

Please join us for D&D at the library! Dinner will be provided. You do not need to have experience, but please come ready to learn and take the campaign seriously! Thank you!

March is National Reading Month! To celebrate, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM,
the LWVGTA will present a program focused on how a library book gets to the reader’s hands with

Ages 12 - 18 are invited to participate in an Escape Room activity. Pizza will be provided. 

TADL Stitchers is open to anyone with an interest in needlework in its many forms--knitting, crochet, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting, embroidery, tatting, etc.  If you are having trouble with a project, others may be able to help. 

Wear your pajamas to the library and listen to some bedtime stories with Miss Kate. You are welcome to bring a small, lovable object as long as you don't forget it here overnight. No pillows or blankets please. 

Join us for Queer Tales Book Club where we chat about books that are by and/or about LGBTQIA+ people. Reading is not required, and everyone is welcome.

We hang out on the third Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Nelson Room.
